2025 will be Shelby’s third year with the St Jude Eureka to Peoria Run!
“I first got involved with St. Jude through the Eureka High School Student Council Fight for Life fundraising program. After I graduated high school, I wanted to continue giving back to a cause that has benefited many families in my community and surrounding communities.”
“My favorite memory from the St. Jude run is from my first year. Most of the day it was pouring down rain. That didn’t stop all of us from having an amazing day. While we were running, we were filled with laughter and singing along to our favorite songs. We were all running for the same common goal, that no child should die of cancer.”
Many people recall our rainy year as a favorite memory. I’ll never forget waking up to heavy rain, worried sick it would ruin the day, but it turned out to be one of my favorites too!
