Hailing from the Netherlands, Anne-Margreet generally locks down the prize for who traveled the farthest to participate in the run. [not a real prize] She has participated in many St Jude Eureka to Peoria Runs as both a runner and\/or a photographer, going back to our first year in 2015.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sister-in-law Lindsay Dam lost her brother Luke to childhood cancer. Her cousins organized the first Eureka run in 2015. I spent many Summers with my family in Illinois and have been participating in the run since 2015. The first year Lindsay and I flew in from California!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, it\u2019s an opportunity to help this great cause and share a very special run day with family and friends. To me, running across the bridge at the end of the run is a special and favorite part.\u201d
