2025 will be Char\u2019s second year with the Eureka run, after spending ten years running with Bloomington.<\/p>\n

\u201cI run for St Jude because as a nurse I have cared for many children afflicted by cancer. It is heartbreaking to see their suffering, but at the same time, I marvel at their tenacity and resilience. Fundraising for St. Jude on their behalf is one small thing that I can do to honor and support them and their families. \u00a0 I also run giving thanks and praise to God that I have been blessed with two healthy children (now 25 and 29).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the camaraderie that accompanies the runs! \u00a0My best memories are from the years that my youngest son, Joe, ran with me \u2764\ufe0f. 2012 marked a personal best for me. I ran 20.1 miles\u2026 I joke that I have never been the same since!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am looking forward to the 2025 run with the Eureka group!\u201d<\/p>\n

Char, after all these years talking about the run, it was great having you out there with us and having the opportunity to catch up.
