Natalie and her mom joined the run together for the first time in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt first, I signed up to run because my mom was going to do it, and I like to be competitive\u00a0with her. However, I quickly\u00a0learned it is so much more than a run. From the pre-run speaker to the stops along the way and the ending ceremonies\u00a0I was taken back by the passion in the people around me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy favorite part was doing it with my mom! It caused me to be continuously grateful\u00a0for the opportunity!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0loved how “manageable” the run is for those of us who are not extreme\u00a0runners! I was able to run over 16 miles that day because the pacing and course mapping are so well done! This allowed me to really take in the meaning behind the run.\u201d<\/p>\n
